Janaya is a graduate of Northeastern Law School, and currently serves as General Counsel for a non-profit organization whose mission is to help individuals and families who have been directly affected by the criminal justice system.  The bulk of her work as General Counsel includes dealing with compliance issues, which encompasses contract review, corporate governance, workplace investigations, HIPAA and privacy.

In addition to her main legal position, Janaya also does various legal work for small business owners, whether it is helping them to set up their organization, contract templates or general inquiries.

She has authored two poetry collections; "Poetic Prompts of Poetry" and "Through the Smoke, The Journey Continues." With a passion for writing and the creative arts, she enjoys using her vivid imagination to entertain, inspire, and motivate.  Sharron holds a J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law and a B.A. in Communication Studies from West Chester University.
